In the Bleak Midwinter

Most of us know Christmas as a time of gifts and a time of partying....but how many of us actually know the true meaning CHRISTmas? This is the true meaning.

“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”- Luke 2:16-20

CHRISTmas is a time of remembering the birth of Christ Jesus and He is called Emmanuel. It is a season of sharing the Good News! And this song is one song that I love to sing during Christmas.

In The Bleak Midwinter

Marathon

Well, it is really interesting to be a bystander and an onlooker at the Marathon. What is most interesting is to wake up like a typical marathon ride your mountain bike down to race site and zip around the race route just to support your love ones.



Well, I did and to be honest its really an experience. I am loving it but of course what would be most fulfilling is to start and finish the race together with your love one. Well, that will be my next years goal.



For now, I would just like to say this. Chris, I am so proud of you. We will run the race together next year.

The North Face 100


It has been a while since someone actually talk about Mandai Track 15 and Zhenghua Park or should I say, I haven't hear anyone really talk about it. Well, I went for a Post - TNF100 ride in the area after about 1 month. Well, there are still some nice remembrance of the event. But most of all, I realised that I am the only solo guy that rode that area.


Post-Ride Condition

So it has been a really nice feeling of non-restricted pace. The ride took me to the end of the Mandai Track 15 trail and then decided to make a U-Turn and head back to Bukit Panjang Zhenghua Park. Its a really interesting experience as I have not been doing solo ride for a while but the feeling is a good one. Sort of a nostalgia.
