Quotes
After all these years of being in middle management and junior management, these are some of the quotes I personally love:
"It is an immutable law in business that words are words, explanations are explanations, promises are promises - but only performance is reality."
Harold Geneen
"Management must have a purpose, a dedication, and that dedication must have an emotional commitment. It must be built in as a vital part of the personality of anyone who truly is a manager."

Decision!
I have long been toying the thoughts for the last few months about Ironman Langkawi. I have not be able to hit the desire mileage in my training and to be honest, somehow I find training becoming a toll.
What makes things worse is that my training buddy is not going for the race or should I say pulled out of the race due to an injury. So, I was left to look for accommodation and flight to the place. Now the decision is very clear to me. I have an unfinished business in Singapore and that is the Mountain Bike 100km Marathon on the same day of Ironman.
I decided to switch my attention and focus to my trusted Tomac Automatic Mountain Bike. I need to get my Mountain Biking all up....so wish me luck as I tackle the race.

The Crime of Mixing Business Opportunity and Private Social Moments
I have been really into my work lately and to be honest, I will find every opportunity to promote my products and services. Guess what, I think I have overdid it again by trying too hard to value-add and sell my products and services. I have brought it to the dinner table and everyone I see seems yo be a potential customer. Of course, what really happens is that I upsets someone that I really love. All she really want is to have a nice dinner with her friend and me and talk nothing about sales of product and services.
What makes things worst is I have the audacity to tell her off just because she commented on my a product that I pass to her. Can you believe that??? I must have lost my mind to do that.
Lesson Learn:
- Don't Bring work to the dinner table
- Don't treat everyone as your customer
- Be normal and just enjoy the company
- Leave your work in the Office!!
- Stop being the EGOistic Salesman!!!
- Be sensitive to other especially when they are someone you love.
